Box Score LANCASTER, P.A. - The SUNY Geneseo women's volleyball team began their 2023 campaign at the Franklin and Marshall Tournament, where they took on Elizabethtown Friday evening. The Knights were unable to pull out the victory and fell, 3-0.

Geneseo struggled in the opening set, falling 25-12. The Knights stepped it up in the second set as they recorded eight kills and a .125 hitting percentage, but ultimately fell 25-21. Geneseo hoped to mount a comeback, but couldn't find the momentum they needed and fell in the third frame 25-16.

Tori Tripp led the offense with five kills, while Julia Wallace chipped in three and a hitting percentage of .429. Geneseo will return to action tomorrow as they take on the hosts and Carnegie Mellon at 12 and 2:30 p.m.
