CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team returned to action for the first time this semester, as they traveled to St. Lawrence on Saturday morning.
The Knights struggled to find their rhythm in doubles action, dropping all three matches.
Alex Galle highlighted the match for Geneseo in singles action, taking the second set in a tiebreaker, 7-4. Galle ultimately fell in a third-set super-tiebreaker, with a final score of 6-2, 6-7(4), 10-6.
Kylie Seiler also put up a battle at third singles, falling 6-4 in the second set.
The Knights were unable to pull out a win on the day and fell 9-0 to the Saints. Geneseo will return to action over Spring Break, when they travel to Florida and take on Salve Regina and Emerson College.
