GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's basketball team suffered a 93-55 loss at Cortland in the SUNYAC quarterfinals on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Geneseo's season ends with an overall record of 11-15.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Knights and the Red Dragons battled through the first half, but Geneseo couldn't find a way to close the gap after an early led from Cortland. The Knights were struggling to string together the baskets they needed, and entered the locker room down 14 at halftime.
• Ethan St. Lucia paced Geneseo in the first half, tallying eight of the team's 22 points as well as four rebounds.
• Cortland came out hot in the second half, going 11-12 from the field to open the half. The strong start was too much for the Knights to mount a comeback.
• Kevin Ranaghan scored double-digit points in the second half, sinking all of five of his shots from the field, including a three-point shot.
