Box Score GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's basketball team couldn't complete the season sweep of Brockport as they fell on the road 73-57.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights came out of the gate firing, as a three-point shot from junior forward Raymond Grabowski four minutes in gave Geneseo a 9-8 advantage. However, Brockport stepped up defensively and held the Knights scoreless for nearly six minutes to go on a 20-0 scoring run.
- Geneseo trailed by as many as 24 in the first half, but was able to cut into the lead to make it 18 points heading to halftime.
- The momentum before halftime helped the Knights slowly cut into the Golden Eagles lead and they went to cut the advantage to single digits after a three from first-year guard Kip Dallaris made the score 52-43.
- With 4:38 left to play, back-to-back free throws from Sebastian Pacheco made it a seven-point game, but the Knights just weren't able to complete the comeback and ultimately fell 73-57.
