Box Score GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's basketball team earned its third-straight victory on Wednesday night as they locked up Oswego for a 49-36 victory. The win improved the Knights to 7-6 overall and 4-3 in SUNYAC play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In a game where both teams struggled to score, Geneseo took control of the game in the first quarter behind a 11-0 run. Senior forward Megan Roell scored five points during the run, while junior forward Lauren Romito chipped in four of her own.
- The Knights defense continued to shut down the Lakers, and held them to just four points in the second quarter as they held a 30-13 advantage at halftime.
- Oswego attempted to close the gap, but Geneseo's defense wouldn't let them make a comeback push as they held on for a 49-36 victory.

- Roell posted her first career double-double, tallying a game-high 17 points and 10 rebounds. Romito also added double-digit scoring with 11.
