Box Score CANTON, N.Y. – The SUNY Geneseo men's soccer team outshot the host St. Lawrence Saints, 14-9, but the Saints tallied late to defeat the Knights, 1-0, Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Junior forward Tyler Lewandowski and first-year midfielder Stefen Nikolic each registered four shots on goal, but neither could find the breakthrough for the Knights as they were held scoreless for the first time this season.
- St. Lawrence notched the go-ahead goal in the 83rd minute to take a 1-0 lead with just over seven minutes to play in the contest.
- The Saints parked the bus after scoring and held the Knights without a shot over the final seven minutes of the game.

- The Knights totaled nine shots on goal while holding the Saints to just six.
