GENESEO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo junior forward Justin Arilotta tallied the Knights' lone goal as Geneseo earned a 1-1 draw against No. 6 Rochester on Tuesday night at College Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Rochester struck first, scoring on a penalty kick in the 15^th minute of play to take a 1-0 lead.
• The Knights responded late in the first half, scoring off of a corner kick. First-year midfielder Vasion Sinjari delivered a cross to the near post where Arilotta skied to head it past the Rochester keeper, leveling the score in the 41^st minute.
• Junior forward Matt Volz generated the Knights' best chance in the second half, striking a volley in the 63^rd minute but it was turned away for a corner kick. Geneseo had a flurry of attempts in the final five minutes, but Adam Astarita's and Eren Aydin's shots were each saved.
• Rochester had a last second opportunity to take the lead, but junior goalkeeper Alex Lopez turned the attempt away to force overtime.
• The YellowJackets pressured throughout the overtime periods, but Lopez saved the only shot on goal he faced in the extra frames.
• Volz fired the Knights' best chance in the extra time, elevating for a header on goal in the 106^th minute, but the Rochester goalkeeper made a lunging save to parry it over the crossbar.
