GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior libero Emily Haber capped off her 2021 campaign with an All-Region Honorable Mention award, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) last week.
Junior libero Emily Haber earned First-Team All-SUNYAC honors after she held her place at the top of the SUNYAC in digs per set all season long and finished the year with 5.61 digs/set, while nobody else in the conference managed to reach the five digs per set mark. Haber's 522 digs moves her into the Knights' top-10 all-time for digs in a season. With two seasons under her belt, she currently sits at 728 career digs and an average of 3.85 per set. In addition to her strong defensive play, she also led the team in service aces with 31. Her season was highlighted by a 40-dig performance in a three-set win over Elizabethtown on Sep. 11, which set a new program record for digs in a three-set match.
