Box Score KEUKA, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior defender Sadie Mitchell notched a goal and an assist as the Knights rolled to a 4-1 victory over host Keuka on Wednesday afternoon, the squad's seventh-consecutive win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mitchell earned an assist on the Knights' first goal of the game, collecting a rebound and sending it across the goal mouth to junior forward Isabella Vinciguerra who slotted the shot home to give Geneseo a 1-0 lead just under 10 minutes into the second quarter.
- Senior forward Liz Burke netted the eventual game-winning goal with two minutes to play in the second period, finishing off an assist from junior forward Maggie Phipps.
- Mitchell scored a goal for the second-consecutive game, finishing off a Knights penalty corner to make it 3-0 in the third frame. Sophomore midfielder Emma Paris tallied an assist on the play.
- In the fourth quarter, senior forward Grace Maley buried a penalty stroke to extend the Geneseo lead to 4-0 and the Knights held on for the 4-1 victory.

- All four Geneseo goal scorers notched their second goal of the season, while Phipps tied the team lead with her fourth assist of the year.
