Box Score GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's soccer team won its third-straight game and improved to 6-0-1 in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action with a dramatic, last-second victory in double overtime at Plattsburgh.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Junior forward Lindsay Wright got the scoring started for the Knights as she scored an unassisted goal 30 minutes into the action to make it a 1-0 game.
- The Cardinals evened the score late in the second half following a corner kick in the 78th minute.
- With all signs pointing towards a tie late in the second overtime period, sophomore forward Liv Raucci volleyed a shot off a loose ball from outside the box and scored the game-winning goal with just 15 seconds left to play.
