Box Score BUFFALO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior guard Lindsay Halpin totaled a game high 14 points, including 12 in the second half, as the Knights completed a comeback victory over State University of New York Athletic Confernce (SUNYAC) opponents Buffalo State, 68-53, on Tuesday night in Buffalo.

The Bengals got off to a hot start taking a quick 11-0 lead, but Halpin ended the scoring drought for the Knights with an elbow jumper midway through the first.

The Knights cut into the lead with three-straight buckets from first-year forward Lauren Romito who later contributed a deep three-pointer for nine first half points as Geneseo entered halftime trailing, 32-23.

Geneseo turned the tables on the Bengals in the third quarter, outscoring Buffalo State, 26-8, to take a 49-40 lead into the final frame.

Halpin scored eight points and added two steals in the fourth quarter as the Knights pulled away, closing out the game, 68-53.
