Box Score FREDONIA, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior forward Conlan Keenan scored his fifth-career hat trick during a 4-2 victory against Fredonia as the Knights secured the top seed in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) for the third-consecutive season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Keenan scored two goals in the first period, both assisted by senior forward Andrew Romano as the Knights jumped out to an early lead.
- Just 3:47 into the second period, Keenan scored his third goal of the game, giving the Knights a 3-0 lead.
- Sophomore forward Brendan Miller scored a shorthanded goal at the 13:46 mark of the second period to extend the Geneseo advantage to 4-0.
- Geneseo took 20 shots in the third period but were unable score any more goals. The Knights allowed two goals in the final period but held on to earn the victory.
