Box Score CLINTON, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior forward Joseph Harclerode and sophomore guard Michael Gannon each scored 14 points but a second-half surge by the host Continentals sunk the Knights, 91-64, at Hamilton on Monday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Geneseo opened up a 15-8 lead over the first five minutes as Gannon, Harclerode and junior forward Alex Merhige each netted buckets to create a 6-0 run for the Knights.
- The Continentals regained the lead with an 11-0 run and went ahead by 10 points, 36-26, with 3:59 to play in the first half.
- Geneseo cut the lead in half before halftime as senior guard Terrance Nichols hit a pull-up jump-shot with 34 seconds to play in the half to cut the Hamilton advantage to 42-37 at the break.
- Hamilton opened the second half on a 23-4 run, to take control of the game.
