GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior forward Kerrin Montgomery tallied 13 points and 10 reboundsbut it wasn't enough as the Knights fell to a 63-56 loss against visiting Brockport on Saturday at Schrader Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPNED

• Geneseo instantly got out to a 6-0 lead within the first 0:48 of the game. 
• Junior forward Abigail Duvivier produced four quick points in transition, giving the Knights a 13-7 lead with 6:33 to play in the first quarter. Geneseo closed the quarter with a 20-12 lead after a 7-2 run.
• Brockport scored seven points within the last two minutes of the second quarter, closing the gap to 32-30.
• At the 6:24 mark of the third quarter, junior forward Kerrin Montgomery knocked down a jumper, putting Geneseo ahead, 39-38, as the two team traded buckets.
• Senior guard Sara Ciotti sank a free throw to end a 7-0 Brockport run with Brockport leading 45-41 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
• Junior guard Lindsay Halpin blocked a 3-pointer and Ciotti knocked down a 3-pointer on the other end to tie the game at 53-53 with just over two minutes to play, but Brockport ended the game on a 10-3 run to edge out Geneseo 63-56.

FAST FACTS

• Brockport snapped a 10-game losing streak against Geneseo.
• Geneseo shot 9-for-17 (52.9%) from the free throw line, their worst percentage since Nov 16 vs RIT.
