Box Score PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo sophomore forward Michael Gannon scored 21 points including the game-winning bucket with 27 seconds remaining, as the Knights take the road victory over the Plattsburgh Cardinals in SUNYAC play, 61-59.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Sophomore guard Elijah Wingfield led Geneseo scorers with eight points in the first half as the Knights held a small lead, but the Cardinals scored as the first half expired, taking a 31-30 lead into halftime.

The Cardinals jumped out to a seven-point lead to start the half, the largest lead for either team in the contest.

Senior guard Terrence Rogers finished a layup midway through the half that sparked the Knights comeback, followed by seven-straight points from Gannon and two buckets by junior forward Joseph Harclerode.

Gannon put the Knights ahead with less than a minute to play off of a turnaround jumper and the Knights forced a stop on the ensuing Cardinals possession to seal the win.
