Box Score BROCKPORT, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior forward McKenna Brooks finished with 15 points and five blocks as the Knights took down State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) foe Brockport, 73-46, on Tuesday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brockport opened a 10-7 lead in the first quarter, but the Knights held the Golden Eagles scoreless over the next 8:31 as Geneseo used a 13-0 run to take a 20-10 lead midway through the second quarter.
- Senior forward Alyssa Lesakowski converted a three-point play and sophomore guard Lindsay Halpin and junior guard Madison McCulley each drilled threes in the final minutes of the half as the Knights went into halftime leading, 31-16.
- Geneseo pounded the paint in the third quarter as Brooks and sophomore forward Kerrin Montgomery combined for 17 of Geneseo's 22 third-quarter points, giving the Knights a 53-35 lead entering the final frame.
- In the fourth quarter, the Knights held Brockport at bay, forcing them into a 25.0% (3-for-12) shooting clip from the floor as Geneseo earned its second-consecutive victory over the Golden Eagles.

- Geneseo shot 27-for- 58 (46.6%) from the floor including 7-for-14 from three while holding Brockport to 17-for-61 shooting, including just 3-for-16 from beyond the arc.
- Montgomery finished with 14 points while senior guard Kelsey Poplawski added 11 and Lesakowski finished with 10.
- Brooks' five blocks were one shy of tying a season high and moved her into third all-time in Geneseo history, just two behind second-place shot blocker Melissa Graham '13.
