Box Score GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior guard Zack Panebianco scored a team-high 22 points but it was not enough to propel the Knights over State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) opponent Buffalo State as they fell, 91-69.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State took an early 12-point lead, jumping ahead 23-11 with four three-pointers in the first eight minutes. Geneseo cut the deficit to seven points, 28-21, with 8:54 to play on a pair of made free throws by sophomore forward Joseph Harclerode III.
- The Bengals pulled away once again, closing the half on a 20-13 run to take a 48-34 lead at halftime.
- In the second half, Geneseo used a 16-7 run to cut the deficit to just seven points as senior forward Jack Manke hit a mid-range jumper with 8:38 remaining.
- That was as close as the Knights could draw as the Bengals closed the contest on a 24-7 run.

- Panebianco scored 14 of his 22 points in the second half, finishing 7-for-13 from the floor and 6-for-6 from the foul line.
