GENESEO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo sophomore forward Dan Bosio scored two goals to lead the No. 2 Knights to a 3-0 victory over No. 6 Oswego in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's ice hockey, Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Geneseo got on the board 1:43 into the game following an Oswego checking from behind penalty. Senior defenseman Duggie Lagrone took a feed from junior forward Andrew Romano at the point and wristed a shot on goal that Bosio tipped past Laker goalie David Richer.

Senior forward Arthur Gordon took a drop pass from first-year forward Henry Cleghorn at the blue line on a right-wing rush and sent a cross-ice feed to Bosio in the low-left slot for a scoring wrist shot inside the left post.
  • Geneseo's final goal came with 6:33 left in regulation after Gordon sent a pass from the point to senior forward Anthony Marra on the left post. Marra popped his own rebound over Richer's pads to complete the victory.
