GENESEO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo first-year outside hitter Maddie McLaughlin totaled a match-high 11 kills and a .429 attack percentage to lead the Knights to a 3-0 (25-14, 25-10, 25-17) win over Plattsburgh in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Pool Play, Friday, at Schrader Gymnasium.

• Geneseo (18-7) improved to 7-0 in SUNYAC play along with New Paltz, which defeated Fredonia, 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-16, 25-22) in the night's other action in Schrader Gym.
• Geneseo hosts New Paltz at 12:00 p.m. and Fredonia at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Geneseo/New Paltz winner clinches the top seed and a first-round bye for the SUNYAC Tournament and will host the semifinals (Nov. 2) and the championship (Nov. 3).
• Geneseo is already assured of no lower than the fourth seed for the postseason with final seedings dependent on tomorrow's results.
