GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior midfielder Emily Green and junior midfielder Leah Greene each scored goals to lead the Knights to a 2-0 victory over visiting Houghton, Thursday.

Green opened the scoring in the scoring in the 35th minute after taking control of a short Houghton goal kick inside midfield. Taking control of the loose ball, Green dribbled on goal and finished on a shot from the left inside the right post.

The Knights maintained their one-goal lead untilt the 81st minute when junior back Jamie Forken centered a ball from the right wing to a wide-open Greene at the top of the penalty box, who settled the ball to her right foot and scored on a 12-yard shot. 

The Knights will return to action on Sunday to host Farmingdale State at 1:00 p.m.
