Box Score GENESEO N.Y. – The SUNY Geneseo women's soccer team lost to Buffalo State, 1-0, in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship match, Saturday.
Buffalo State (17-1-2) senior forward Melissa Smith scored the game-winning goal in the 32nd minute. She was assisted by first-year midfielder Jada Sargeant.
Junior forward Leah Greene, senior forward Laurie Knapp and first-year defender Taylor Clar were named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team after leading the second-seeded Knights (9-3-6) to their third tournament championship match appearance in four years.
