The teams played a tight first half until Brockport broke a 20-20 tie with nine-unanswered points to take a 29-20 lead with 3:44 on the clock on its way to a 31-24 edge at halftime.
Geneseo trailed until a Ringen lay-up staked the Knights to a 40-39 lead with 11:55 to play in regulation. A 9-2 Golden Eagles' run put the hosts up by six, 48-42, with 7:29 to play, but seven-unanswered Geneseo points, including a Decker long-ball followed by a lay-up by first-year guard CJ Burke put the Knights back on top, 49-48, with 5:56 remaining.

On the ensuing possession, Decker connected on what proved to be the winning strike from long range as the Knights held on for the victory.
Geneseo returns to action on Tuesday, hosting Oswego at 7:30 p.m. to kick-off a three-game homestand.
