GENESEO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo senior forward Shannon McGinnis recorded 21 points and 16 rebounds for her 14th double-double of the season as the Knights won their 14th-straight game and defeated host Potsdam, 74-49, in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women's basketball, Friday night.

Junior forward Allison McKenna had 14 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the year while junior guard Dana Cohan scored 14 points and handed out six assists in the victory.

"I am very proud of the team's effort tonight. We have one more regular season game left, tomorrow against Plattsburgh, and it will certainly be a challenge," said head coach Scott Hemer. "The game will test our character and I hope the team responds."

At 16:34, sophomore guard Kara Houppert made a lay-up to give the visitors an early 10-5 lead. After the Bears tied the game at 10, Cohan made a shot from beyond the arc to put Geneseo up, 13-10, at 15:49.

With 8:06 on the clock, McKenna made a lay-up to make it a six-point game, 27-21. Leading by three just under a minute later, 27-24, the Knights went on a 14-1 run to take a 41-25 advantage into halftime.
