HOUGHTON, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo split a pair of matches at Houghton, Saturday. The Knights defeated Alfred State, 3-2 (25-19, 23-25, 25-18, 23-25, 15-8) before falling to the host Highlanders, 3-1 (25-20, 25-22, 18-25, 25-21).

Geneseo (9-10) returns to action next weekend playing Brockport on Friday (5:00 PM) as well as Oneonta (10:00 AM) and Cortland (3:00 PM) in the second State University of New York Athletic Conference Pool Play of the season, hosted by Potsdam.
