POTSDAM, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior goalie Nick Horrigan was credited with 30 saves but it was host Potsdam holding on for the 1-0 victor over the Knights, Friday night, in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) play.

Following a Knights' slashing call at 7:32 of the first period, Dylan Vander Esch made the visitors pay with a power-play goal at 6:21 that proved to be the game-winner.

Geneseo (8-8-3, 5-5-0 SUNYAC) out-shot the Bears by a 53-30 margin, but was shut-out for only the second time this season.

The Knights return to action on Saturday, completing their weekend road trip with a visit to No. 8 Plattsburgh slated to face-off at 7:00 p.m.
