GENESEO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo senior goalie Allison Stamp had six saves, but it was St. Lawrence taking the win, 1-0, Saturday at Saratoga Field.

After a scoreless first half, the Saints (6-2) got on the board in the 55th minute.  Taylor Goldsborough scored off of a corner kick by Caroline Crandall, clipping in the ball to the right side of the net.

The Knights (6-1-1) were outshot 10-7 as they were handed their first loss of the season.

Geneseo opens up State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) play with a home match against Fredonia next Friday (Sept. 26). Faceoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
