Box Score KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - SUNY Genseo sophomore middle blocker Courtney Cleary totaled nine kills while sophomore libero Dani Sayler added 10 digs to lead the Knights to a 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-23) victory at Keuka, Wednesday night.
The victory improved the team to a 10-1 record for the first time in program history.
"I feel the team play very well tonight as a unit," said head coach Jen Salmon. "We never got rattled and stayed confident throughout. I thought we also played very strong defensively, which also positively impacted the success of our offense."
Geneseo junior setter Bethany VanDerMeid compiled 29 assists in the win.
Next up, the Knights will host the Geneseo Invitational this Friday and Saturday in Schrader and Kuhl Gymnasiums. Geneseo will take on Medaille at 5:00 p.m. and Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, before squaring off with Rochester at 10:00 a.m. and Hilbert at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
