ROCHESTER, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo sophomore outside hitter Tricia Baxley and sophomore middle blocker Courtney Cleary each tallied 10 kills to lead the women's volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-20) victory over St. John Fisher in day-two action at the RIT Invitational, Saturday. 

The victory tied the program record for the best 10-match start to the season as Geneseo improved to 9-1 on the year. The 1986 squad also got off to a 9-1 start en route to a 30-win season. 

Sophomore libero Dani Sayler was named to the All-Tournament team following a 13-dig showing in Saturday's victory. 

Junior setter Bethany VanDerMeid was credited with 32 assists for Geneseo.

Geneseo will be back in action on Wednesday at Keuka for a 7:00 p.m. match, before hosting the Geneseo Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
