BROCKPORT, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo senior goalkeeper Julia Sanger made five saves but it was St. John Fisher holding on for a 1-0 victory, Saturday afternoon, in a match played at SUNY Brockport.

Molly Beaton dodged a defender and scored on a shot into top left corner of the goal in the 39th minute for the only tally of the day. Jamie Alloco was credited with an assist on the play.

Geneseo finished with an 18-17 edge in shots, but was held scoreless for the second straight match after also falling, 1-0, at Nazareth on Friday night.

The Knights look to get back on track this Wednesday with a trip to Houghton for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff, before kicking off the home portion of the 2013 schedule next Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. matchup with Lycoming.
