Box Score GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo first-year midfielder Matt D'Amico scored the game-winning goal five minutes into overtime to lift the Knights to a 3-2 victory over Buffalo State and earn their first win in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) play at Saratoga Field on Friday.
"I'm happy with the result as getting the victory is always good, especially in conference play." said Geneseo head coach Dominic Oliveri. "Buffalo State stepped up the pressure in the second half and we allowed goals on two set pieces. We didn't really recover until overtime when we got the third goal. We'll take the result, but we need to play much better than we did in that second half going forward."

Senior midfielder Craig Schackner sent in a long cross from the right side of the field, which was headed by junior midfielder Jason Iannone, and misplayed by a Bengals defenseman, resulting in an own-goal for the Knights.
