Box Score 2 OSWEGO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo junior outside hitter Meagan Johnson and first-year middle blocker Courtney Cleary were named to the all-tournament team after leading the Knights (8-8) to a 3-1 record during the Oswego Invitational, Saturday, in women's volleyball action.
Saturday – Geneseo 3, Hilbert 0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-22)
Sophomore libero Samantha Holdredge was credited with a match-high 17 digs, while first-year outside hitter Tricia Baxley and sophomore middle blocker Paige Pendleton led the way with nine kills apiece, as the Knights defeated Hilbert for the third time this season.
Saturday – Oswego 3, Geneseo 1 (25-17, 17-25, 25-21, 25-21)
Johnson scored 10 kills while Holdredge added 13 digs in the Knights' lone loss of the weekend. Sophomore setter Erika Dannenfelser added 36 assists and seven digs for Geneseo.
Friday - Geneseo 3, Elmira 0 (25-11, 25-21, 25-13)
Baxley totaled 10 kills and a .370 hitting percentage while Holdredge was credited with a match-high 19 digs to lead the Knights to the sweep. Dannenfelser added 30 assists while Morton compiled 10 digs and eight kills in the victory.
Friday - Geneseo 3, Alfred State 0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-23)
Morton led the Knights with 11 kills to go along with seven digs, while Baxley totaled 10 digs and seven assists in Geneseo's second straight sweep on Friday night. Holdredge again led all players with 12 digs, while Dannenfelser dished out 37 assists in the win.
