POTSDAM, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo first-year forward Erin O'Connor scored the game-winning goal to lead the the Knights to a 1-0 shutout over Potsdam (5-6-1, 2-6 SUNYAC) Friday afternoon.

O'Connor took a pass from senior midfielder Alexa Vojvodic and took a shot toward the far post that trickled through the goalkeepers hands and into the goal to put the Knights up 1-0.

Geneseo (5-6-4, 3-3-2 SUNYAC) goalkeeper Julia Sanger had two saves for the afternoon to preserve her seventh shutout of the season. 

The Knights will return to action traveling to Plattsburgh Saturday (Oct. 26) at 1 p.m.
