GENESEO, N.Y.— SUNY Geneseo senior midfielder Alexa Krebs scored a goal but it was visiting Oswego taking a 2-1 victory in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women's soccer Saturday afternoon.

Oswego (10-5, 5-3 SUNYAC) jumped out to a 2-0 lead on consecutive goals by Tia Segretto in the 10th and 21st minute before Krebs got the Knights on the board in the 29th minute, to make it a 2-1 game at halftime.

Segretto's first goal came on a 20 yard shot from the left side into the right corner of the goal. Segretto then collected a rebound off of a saved shot and scored from close range for Oswego's second tally.

Following an Oswego foul, Krebs took a free kick and scored on a 20 yard shot, to cut the Laker lead in half heading into intermission.

In the second half neither team was able to put together any solid scoring opportunities, while the Knights couldn't find the equalizer, taking the one-goal loss.

Geneseo (4-6-4, 2-3-2 SUNYAC) will be back in action next Friday traveling to Potsdam for a 3:00 p.m. match.
