Box Score

OSWEGO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo senior forward Ryan Yurchak scored his fourth goal of the season to carry the Knights to the final 1-1 tie at Oswego in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's soccer play, Saturday afternoon

Yurchak's goal came in the 48th minute when he connected on a long pass into the box from junior midfielder Jason Iannone, giving the Knights the 1-0 lead.

The Lakers tied the game in the 68th minute with a goal from senior back Brandyn Peters after Knights' sophomore goalkeeper Logan Calvey collided with another player, who was trying for a one-on-one opportunity, leaving the net empty. Peters sent the ball into the upper left corner of the goal for the equalizer.

The Knights outshot Oswego, 28-9, and Calvey was credited with three saves to preserve the draw.

Geneseo will next host Potsdam on Friday (October 25th) at 3:00 p.m. at Saratoga Field in SUNYAC play.
