New Paltz, N.Y. -- The Geneseo field hockey team (12-6) lost 1-0 to Cortland (10-8) in the semifinal round of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship Tournament Friday.  The Blue Knights were outshot 8-4. First year Dayna Mercer (Katonah/John Jay) stopped five shots in goal.
