Jeremie Stearns

Jeremie Stearns was hired as Assistant Athletic Trainer in the Fall of 2007 and begins his 17th year with Geneseo in 2023-24. 

Stearns graduated from University of Buffalo with a Master's Degree in exercise science and a concentration in athletic training. During his time at Geneseo, Jeremie has treated hundreds of student-athletes. 

He has worked with Sports Medicine Concepts as a secondary instructor, assisting with the instruction of advanced catastrophic injury management, teaching other certified athletic trainers, including sports medicine staffs from multiple NFL teams. Stearns volunteered as an athletic trainer at the New York State Empire Gamse in 2008 and 2010 and has been a member of the National Ski Patrol since 1999, volunteering regularly at Swain Resort. He is certified as an outdoor emergency care technician and as a Red Cross CPR/AED Instructor. Prior to working at Geneseo, Jeremie interned with the athletic training staff at Niagara University.

A native of Stafford, N.Y., he currently lives in Rochester with his wife, Rachel, a registered dietician and clinical nutrition specialist for URMC.
