LEWISBURG, P.A. AND BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's track and field team split up this past weekend, sending athletes to compete at Brockport on Sunday, April 12, and a Division I meet at Bucknell on Saturday, April 11.
At Bucknell,
Ann Brennan finished first overall in the 3000m Steeplechase, racing to a time of 10:39.70.
Nicole Gretzinger and
Dakota Limbert both earned top-15 finishes in the 800m by finishing with times of 2:11.73 and 2:11.99, respectively.
Shelby Boise competed in the 1500m and was the Knights top finisher with a time of 4:38.16, while
Kaitlyn Hotaling and
Ella Grinnell both took top-20 spots in the 5000m.
Ari Reback finished 10th overall in the 10,000m, posting a time of 35:27.39.
At Brockport
Nicole Gretzinger and
Sophia Barclay raced in the 400m and both reached AARTFC qualifying times by placing second and fourth with times of 57.93 and 58.98, respectively.
Kayla Anastasia finished third overall in the 100m with a time of 12.91 seconds, and then fourth in the 200m at 26.14 seconds. Ruthie Weinmann took fourth in the 800m at 2:27.15.
Elaina Flaitz provided a highlight for the Knights in the field events, finishing first overall at 1.58m in the high jump.
