BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's track and field team traveled to Brockport for their final meet before Empire 8 Championships next weekend.
Nicole Gretzinger highlighted the meet with a new program record in the 500m, recording a time of 1:17.17.
Olivia DeCarvalho opened up the meet in the 5000m with a first place finish and time of 19:11.18, while
Ari Reback won the 3000m at 10:28.50. Reback also competed in the mile, and won the race at 5:06.49.
Amanda Burren won the 60m hurdles at 9.22, and
Dakota Limbert followed suit in the 600m at 1:36.97. The Knights continued to dominate the meet as
Ava Bagley won the 400m at 1:01.53, and
Brynn Mooney won the 300m at 40.79.
Shelby Boise picked up the win in the 1000m at 3:02.45, and Mooney added her second win in the 200m at 25.70.
In the field events,
Mackenzie Kubat won the high jump at 1.59m, while
Jillian Ambler took first in the long jump at 5.89m.
Payton Mehalick brought home first place in the shot put with a distance of 12.61m and teammate
Lauren Jaklitsch continued her stellar season in the weight throw with a first place finish at 18.54m.
