BOSTON AND ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's track and field team competed at both Boston and Nazareth this weekend and came away with multiple impressive performances.
At Boston, the Knights sent multiple student-athletes to compete against some of the top track and field athletes in the country.
Sierra Doody competed in the 800m run and placed 14th at 2:08.82, which marked a new program and conference record, as well as 16th fastest time in DIII history.
Jillian Ambler joined Doody in the record setting performances, finishing the 200m in 24.84 seconds to set a new program and conference record. In the 400m Dash Invite,
Brynn Mooney posted a time of 56.32 in 21st place, while
Stella Riley joined her on the top-10 in program history list with a time of 58.44.
Lindsay Tellez competed in the 200m and finished with a time of 25.66 for sixth all-time in program history. The team of Ambler, Doody, Gretzinger, and Mooney rounded out the meet in the 4x400 relay in 12th place at 3:49.8, marking the fourth fastest time in program history.

At Nazareth,
Annika Hurley kicked off the track events with a time of 17:52.52, taking first place with a regional qualifying time.
Mackenzie Kubat kept the winning ways going on Saturday, recording a time of 9.05 seconds in the 60m hurdles for first place and a regional qualifying time.
Gigi Ferro took on the 200m for Geneseo, and came away with a first place finish and time of 26.82 seconds.
In the field events,
Lauren Jaklitsch set a program record in the weight throw with a distance of 18.71m, which also marks an Empire 8 Conference Record and the fourth best in DIII this season. In the shot put,
Payton Mehalick posted a distance of 12.08m in second, while Jaklitsch took third at 12.02m.
Isabelle Briggs finished first in the triple jump at 10.61m, while
Elaina Flaitz took first in the high jump at 1.63m.
