ITHACA, NY- The Geneseo Diving team competed at the Geneca Invite. On the women's side, Lydia Benjamin led the way for the Knights in the 3-meter, putting up an impressive score of 430.55, finishing fifth out of 13 athletes. Lauren Savage and Aurora Jacobson ended with scores of 412.15 and 397.05. Benjamin continued to shine in the 1-meter, scoring a 404.90 and taking fifth place.  

For the men, Trent Makowiec took the top spot in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. In the 1-meter, he ended with a 563.95, with over 50 points between him and the second-place diver and followed it up with a 616.40 in the 3-meter. Greg Meder finished close behind, taking third in the 1-meter with a final score of 500.55 and second in the 3-meter, scoring 569.20.  

The Knights will head to their first ever Empire 8 Championship meet from February 19th to 22nd.
