NEW ORLEANS – The SUNY Geneseo men's and women's cross country squads were both recognized as All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2024 season. Additionally, the Knights combined for Ten All-Academic individual awards.
Both teams received All-Academic status with the women posting a 3.50 cumulative GPA and the men recording a 3.36 cumulative GPA. Award-eligible teams must register a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale.
In order to qualify for indiviudal All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet. For the men,
Emerson Comer,
Austin Schoen,
Charlie Wilson, and
Pierce Young earned the honor. On the women's side,
Ann Brennan,
Sierra Doody,
Lilly Fowler-Conner, and
Jillian O'Rourke brought home the awards.
