ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's cross country team won the Empire 8 championship on Saturday, Nov. 1 with six runners inside the top-10. This marks the Knights 14th-consecutive conference title and second straight in the Empire 8.
Ann Brennan provided a big highlight for the Knights, winning the Empire 8 Championship race with a time of 22:22.7. Brennan was followed by 
Ari Reback and 
Sierra Doody, who placed second and third overall with times of 22:43.5 and 22:46.3, respectively. 
Annika Hurley was next to cross the finish line for Geneseo in seventh place at 23:03.4, while 
Jillian O'Rourke (23:14.9) and 
Katie Bauman (23:18.7) rounded out the Knights inside the top-10 in ninth and tenth. 
Greylynn Guyer and 
Annabelle Czekanski finished in All-Conference positioning, placing in 12th and 15th, respectively.
Geneseo won the race with 22 points, while Houghton finished second with 69, and Brockport took third at 83.
