FREDONIA, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo Men's Cross Country team competed at the Kara Hall Memorial Invitational this morning at SUNY Fredonia and the Knights finished on top, taking first place with five athletes finishing top-10.

Kole Owens took the top spot in the 8k race, crossing the finish line at 25:38.1. Mario Verruto was behind Owens in second place, posting a time of 26:07.7. Andrew Cox took fifth overall with a time of 26:40.8, while Jack Hicks (26:58.8) and Owen Willard (27:08.3) rounded out the top for the Knights in eighth and ninth.

The Knights head to the Canisius Alumni Classic and the Connecticut College Invitational on October 18.
