Box Score GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team picked up its second Empire 8 win of the season, defeating Houghton 8-1 on Friday afternoon.

The Knights came out hot in doubles action, sweeping all three matches. The team of Natalie Pipes and Samantha Rave earned an 8-1 victory at first doubles, while Katie Kujawa and Joann Catalano matched their score at third doubles with an 8-1 win. Talia Wutz and Rachel Molloy rounded out the doubles action with an 8-3 victory at second doubles.

In singles play, Rava earned a 6-0 6-0 win at second singles, while both Molloy and Catalano only dropped one game each at fourth and sixth singles, respectively. Pipes picked up a 6-0 6-2 win at first singles, and Kujawa closed out the Geneseo victories for the day with a 6-1 6-3 win at fifth singles.

The Knights will return to action tomorrow, at Utica.
