ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's cross country team took first at the Yellowjacket Invitational this weekend, beating out multiple Division I opponents.
Penelope Greene highlighted the meet for the Knights with a first place finish out of 220 athletes.
Greene took first at the meet with a time of 21:49.4, beating out second place by 20 seconds. Lilly Fowler-Conner joined Greene in the top-five, placing third with a time of 22:30.8. Geneseo continued to stack strong times, with Ari Reback (6th - 23:08.9) and Ann Brennan (9th - 23:15.9) joining their teammates in the top-10. Jillian O'Rourke rounded out the top-five for Geneseo, finishing 13th at 23:22.5. Gabby McCarthy, Isabel Marzec, and Sierra Doody also finished in the top-20 for the Knights.
