ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's cross country team opened up its 2024 season on a high note, taking first overall at the Fisher-Rodenbeck Invitational. The Knights placed seven runners in the top-20 and tallied 41 points to win the meet.
Ari Reback began her freshman campaign with a first-place finish at the meet, crossing the finish line in 15:07.5, beating out second place by six seconds.
Sophie Bagley (15:59.9) and
Ella Grinnell (16:03.4)Â joined her in the top-10, taking sixth and seventh, respectively.
Annika Hurley and
Shelby Boise were close behind in 13th and 14th place with times of 16:17.1 and 16:18.6, respectively.
Dakota Limbert and
Annie Bolke rounded out the top finishers for the Knights in 16th and 20th.
This marks Geneseo's fourth win out of six years at the St. John Fisher-Rodenbeck Invitational. For the full results from the meet,

Geneseo will have next weekend off from competition and then return to action on Sep. 21 at the University of Rochester.
