SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced the 2024 women's tennis all-conference teams on Wednesday, May 1.
Rory Tobin and
Natalie Pipes brought home All-SUNYAC honors for SUNY Geneseo, with Tobin earning Second-Team honors for singles, and the duo being named First-Team for doubles.
Tobin and Pipes were dominant at first doubles during conference play this season, only falling to New Paltz and posting a 6-1 record during regular season play. In the postseason, the pair helped the Knights earn a big semifinal victory over Cortland with an 8-3 victory over the Red Dragons. In singles action, Tobin had a great season for Geneseo at both the second and third singles spot. The New York, N.Y. native finished the year with 12 wins in singles and was the lone victory in the regular season matchup against New Paltz. Tobin also picked up the win in singles in the semifinal match against the Red Dragons, helping her earn All-Tournament Team honors.
