Rochester, NY- The divers from the Geneseo Swimming and Diving team headed to RIT to compete at thr Don Richards Invitational.
Lydia Benjamin led the team in the 1-meter dive, scoring 393.85.
Donna Clark and
Lauren Savage were close, scoring 379.85 and 375.25 respectively, while teammates
Sophia Patterson finished the 3-meter with 338.65 points and
Aurora Jacobson with 311.60. Benjamin had another great performance in the 3-meter dive, finishing with a 411.05. Savage tallied 353.50, while only ten points separated Patterson and Jacobson, with Sophia scoring 332.00 and Aurora with 322.55. Clarke rounded out the meet for the Knights, finishing the 3-meter dive with 185.25 points.

Greg Meder and
Evan Rigal competed for the men in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. Makowiec led the way for the Knights, scoring 578.60 in the 1-meter. Meder was close behind with an impressive 504.55 and Rigal rounded out the men with a 406.70. In the 3-meter, only nine points separated Makowiec and Meder, with Makowiec finishing with 564.05 and Meder with 553.65, while Rigal finished the meet with a total of 468.95.
The Knights will open 2025 competing at Alfred University on January 15th.
