GAMBIER, OH- The Men's Swimming & Diving team headed to Kenyon College for the Total Performance Invite.
DAY ONE- Gannon Moore, Alex Trzaskowski, Aidan Cameron and Jose Santana put points on the board for Geneseo on Thursday in the 200-yard Freestyle, finishing at 1:25.66. Teammates Alex Stoker, Jack Keene, Chris Boucree and Edmund Wilson were close behind with a time of 1:26.60. In the 400-yard Medley, Griffin Merkling, Alex Palmer, Brian Pabisch and Jake Nielsen had a 10th place finish, touching the wall at 3:21.99.
DAY TWO- In the 100-yard breaststroke, Palmer took ninth in the A Final with a time of 56.49, while Nielsen dominated the C Final, setting a new pool record for geneseo and a NACC B cut with a time of 55.29. The Knights continued strong, with Merkling, Palmer, Pabisch and Nielsen taking fifth in tge 200-yard Medley relay. Pabisch then followed with an 11th place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, touching at 49.48 and Merkling took 10th in the 100-yard Backstroke.
DAY THREE- The 400-yard freestyle finished in 5th place, with Nielsen, Nielseon, Pabisch and Casey Connors completing the race at 3:01.21 and secured a NCAA b cut with that time. In the 200-yard breaststoke, Merkling secured points for the team with his 1:51.78 finish. Pabisch had another great performance in the 100-yard freestyle, taking fourth place with a time of 45.16 and teammate Jake Nielsen finished close behind and took ninth place. In the 200-yard breaststroke, Palmer finished at 2:02.34 and secured a fourth place finish. The team finished the meet with a 6th place finish.
WHAT'S NEXT- The team will head down the road to RIT on December 6th.
