Box Score GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team celebrated senior day on Friday, October 4 and came away with a 7-2 victory over St. John Fisher. The win moves the Knights to 4-1 overall and 3-1 in Empire 8 action. Seniors

Katie Kujawa were honored with a short pre-match ceremony.
The Knights came out hot in doubles action, only dropping two combined games between the three matches. At first doubles,
Samantha Rava and
Rachel Molloy picked up an 8-0 win, then
Natalie Pipes and
Joann Catalano followed suit at second doubles with an 8-0 victory. Kujawa and
Elena DeRiso won 8-2 at third doubles to secure the 3-0 start to the match.
In singles play, Pipes tallied a 6-0 6-2 victory at first singles, while Rava picked up a 6-2 6-2 win at second singles. Catalano won at fifth singles by a score of 6-3 6-1 and Molloy earned the seventh point for Geneseo at third singles.
The Knights will take their four-game win streak on the road to Alfred tomorrow at 1 p.m.
